It takes nearly a half hour before Yondu decides that this is a real place offering real amenities and those amenities are something he's badly in need of. But he doesn't know if he's going to stay with his usual roommates in their cabin or not.
He's out hunting for Raven then, seeing if she would want to follow through on their previous familial conversations (though it's more to check up on her), and one of the places he wanders into is the Swim Palace, which he's obviously not there to partake in as he's not dressed for it. He's just asking workers if they've seen a purple haired girl about yay tall 'cause he needs to talk to her.
He's just about to give up and leave when he wanders between the pool and the wrong person.
Buying Souveniers - OTA
Some dry clothes later (which include jeans, boots, and a nightmarish colorful paisely shirt with the sleeves rolled up, courtesy of Koumyou's dubious tastes), Yondu's in the souvenier shop trying to pick out something to take with him. As usual he gravitates towards some small adorable knick knacks.
He finds something that looks like a raccoon holding a modeled suncoin, and he immediately picks it up with a wide sharp grin to check the price. "Would ya look at that! Looks about like the rat..."
He was friends with Rocket for all of eight hours and he's still fond of the critter. Not that he'd ever see him again, but he'd done right by him and you didn't have to do much to earn his appreciation. He hopes he's alright out there somewhere. Meanwhile he looks like a kid that just found the perfect toy, up until someone tries to reach over his shoulder to look at it and he instead curls his lip at them like a dog about to have a bone stolen.
No, this stranger may not have his raccoon.
General Relaxation - OTA
For the rest of the trip he's mostly engaging in adult activities and not being all that responsible. He swings by both the nightclub and the casino though in both places he mostly lingers by the bar or at a table and has every intention of getting drunk. He goes to watch karaoke. He doesn't really intend to participate, and it's mostly spent in the Sanzo's company.
He also spends some time just sitting at the lake's beach or on the steps of the cabin, mostly at dusk and at night, enjoying a real sky without the stress of a mission bearing down on them. It's nice and quiet.
