Written by a junior void minister from that planet. ⦿

"This is a children's information book about the first void travel. It does feature a short piece on Jifti and Byin and their doomed voyage but the bulk of it focuses on Bhifve and Pru." ⦿

"It was invented by a pair of sisters from world system #1- the system that discovered the void in the first place though it is sadly bereft of information about that discovery and instead focuses on the sisters lives." ⦿

"System 1 - A large galaxy with many cultures and planets though this book focuses on VE-26 the planet where Jifti and Byin were based when they created what is considered the first Voidcraft. Their first prototype was simple and was widely considered to have worked- indeed the craft was found in another multiverse- considered a mystery for almost two centuries until it was eventually traced back to system #1. Sadly the sisters didn't survive their maiden voyage, their bodies were buried with honor for their advancements to science and void travel was tabled for practically another generation.

Nowadays VE-26 is still a place of scientific advancement and many throughout system #1 go there to work in Void travel-related fields or to study at the large engineering university there. It notes the grave of the sisters and a museum on the early history of voidtravel to be noteworthy destinations." ⦿

#2
"Tree Root Cloud is the closest translation to the name of this world. The people there are large birds and the world- despite all it's scientific achievements is forest-rich and bereft of any large cities.

Flight has never been a problem for system 2 but the 'space between dreams' as the void is known was always a place they longed to fly to. Visiting System # 2 can be difficult for any non-winged people but due to their status as one of the founding systems they have a budding tourism industry for those interested." ⦿

#3
"Bhifve was born on what would become known as System #3. One of the first six void-active worlds." ⦿

"Alcyoneus- The people of this world are blue-skinned humanoids and their world is one of high technology where learning is considered very culturally important. People are expected to be in full-time education until their late twenties.

It is also a ruthless culture, those who fall through the cracks fall hard with many crimes considered minor on other systems earning harsh sentences. Tourists are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the laws and make sure they are registered with the local void ministry whilst on world.

However they do believe that anyone can rise beyond their circumstances and Pru- a prisoner on death row who became the first person to survive the void- has a revered place in their history. It suggests Bhifve's lab (now a museum) as a place of interest." ⦿

"It glosses over a lot of the facts of Bhifve's life and work and indeed many of the parts of Pru's. It does mention that she was in jail and they made a deal that she would work for him.

It has a picture of the two of them - they were blue-skinned humanoids - and a basic sketch of the void-craft." ⦿

"History of the Void is basically another retelling of the story of Bhifve and Pru. It paints Bhifve in a more heroic light than the biography." ⦿

"~ Despite all his work he only voidtravelled himself once- he was one hundred and three years old and bed bound. Pru took him into the void and to her favourite world- one with crystal cliffs that sung with the wind. He died under a rich golden sky and Pru returned back to system #3 to bury him." ⦿

"This issue focuses on the first successful void travel by living people, how after many failed and tragic experiments a scientist called Bhifve had discovered the apparatus needed to allow people to travel through the void, to see other worlds and be able to return to their own world alive and of sound mind." ⦿

"Bhifve was true to his word and gave Pru half his fortune. She was so inspired by her journey that she continued to work with him and helped develop void technology. Her first void journey had not involved her getting out of her void craft but that was something she was interested in developing." ⦿

#4
"Dandelion Six. The last of the six to travel the void. They were the first system to launch a larger craft with the purpose to help other systems in peril or systems on the verge of discovering the void in order to help them do so with as few 'trial and error' deaths as possible." ⦿

#5
"MDB 07H - a world with no land. Long flooded before they discovered the void their first attempts were made as an attempt to find a new place for their people to go. Their existing research on deep-sea travel helped them in their research and they were the first system to use what is now known as a Safety Control Apparatus. This provided an easier way of tethering and also allowed void travelers to endure high pressures, extreme temperatures and other atmospheric difficulties.

An underwater walk is a must for those traveling to system #5. The people there are friendly and have the highest proportion of void travelers per population- it is rare to meet someone from system #5 who has not traveled in the void." ⦿

#6
"Ameqran. The people of Ameqran do not grow higher than three feet tall. However what they lack in size they make up for in emotional intelligence. It was system #6 that paved the way for many of the early void treaties and agreements and most will consider them the true founders of the Void Ministry.

Despite being one of the founding six systems many from Amegran today do not travel. If they do it is as ministry workers, peacekeepers and diplomats. Traveling for pleasure or adventure is rare and considered frivolous.

As such they are not such a popular tourist destination but the meeting hall of the first Void Council is a notable part of void history and their adjoining university hosts short courses on the history of void travel for visitors." ⦿

"A history of the treaties that formed the organization known today as the void ministry. A look at how the laws and freedoms we take for granted today were first agreed upon." ⦿

"This jumps forward a good while and talks about the start of the void network- that is the first six systems that mostly independently of each other developed void travel.

After initial cultural misunderstandings and a war that was very narrowly averted a consensus to not interfere was established. The six systems kept themselves to themselves for a good fifty years, exploring worlds but avoiding each other." ⦿

#23
"The most famous case, as it was a void active world with void missionaries and a presence on the Void Ministry. The mysterious disappearance left a few million travellers without anchor. Their most famous voidcraft 'Arc of Curiosity' was repurposed into an in-void hub for the survivors." ⦿

"System 23 was made up of 42 planets in three solar systems. Around ten of those planets discovered long distance space travel within a few years of each other and within a century the first intergalactic council was in place.

There are mentions of a few important dates and treaties, of wars and scuffles and of differing technologies.

Many hundreds of years later they began discovering the void, they were visited by representatives of the void ministry who worked with them to develop safe void travel." ⦿

#392
"When system #392 joined the network they were keen on having a more physical presence in the void, to protect people from void criminals as their own world had been plagued with them in the past. They built the Inspection arm of the void-minstry." ⦿

" The people of system #392 are a large humanoid species.
~ They are a deeply psychic people, indeed until they discovered void travel they didn't have a spoken language, they communicate with each other through images. They are not quite a hive mind, but can communicate in groups effortlessly.
~ They now speak a mix of languages- not a problem as translation technology is widespread.
~ They first became aware of the void when they were hit by a spree of attacks from a variety of criminals using the void to hit vulnerable-seeming worlds.
~ They downed enough criminal ships to figure out void technology and the void ministry quickly stepped in to help their transition to void travel.
~ They quickly became a core system of the void network, they found they fared better against voiddust than many other peoples.
~ They developed technology to protect them from the void- the iconic inspector suits, they developed ways of entering void craft from the void without exposing the passengers to dangerous levels of void dust.
~ They formed the Inspection arm of the Void Ministry and have patrolled the void ever since. Being a Void Inspector is considered one of the most prestigious career choices by those in system #392.
~ Very little is known about the world itself, as void travel to the system is very heavily regulated." ⦿

"There are a few chapters on the inspection arm of the void ministry. Out of system #392 the inspection arm was started in the early days of the void ministry to combat the growing crime and violence as more systems entered the void.

Those of system #392 are uniquely suited to the job as their species can cope with the void better than most. They are a psyionic people who share a low level telepathy with each other.

When the inspectors were first proposed their were fears about leaving the security of the void to one world, as well as political issues with having inspectors psychically linked to their home planet and government.

A rather extreme solution was found. The inspectors lose their citizenship of system #392 and are removed from the shared mind space on graduating their training. They join the mind space of the inspectors. They have a void hub that they are tethered to." ⦿

"This is predominantly a photobook and shows strange buildings mostly made of smooth black stone. Curves and soft edges are predominant and most interestingly there is a lack of windows or doors.

The book explains that the rock muffles psychic senses allowing the residents to rest without overstimulation from the world outside. Their sense of personal space and private property is very different than many people and so buildings are shared- in a culture where everyone can phase through solid material locks are useless but even so crime is practically non-existant.

The photos are stunning- they are mostly just of the buildings and surroundings. When there are people in them they are all wearing masks" ⦿

"A non void active world populated only by giant sentient badgers. If this world has been destroyed it is believed that species to be completely extinct." ⦿

#901
"J, J & H: The three criminals behind the annihilation of system #901. Con artists who used the void to pull off 'perfect' heists and inadvertently set off a chain of events that led to the destruction of a fifty-planet strong system and the loss of countless lives." ⦿

The one the train supposedly is from and disappeared.

#4829
"At the back there is a trading card of Tyrese Barr. A famous football tennis player from system #4829" ⦿

#5739
Ciyesia: "Outside the windows the void is gone. The train is winding through a mountain range. The mountains tower up around them. The sky is a beautiful blue though every now and again there is a swirl of colour, like the void is trying to break through.

The countryside wizzes by, sometimes you go past settlements, small villages of wooden houses. Sometimes you pass farmers in fields. Sometimes herds of animals, horses, camels, strange animals with six legs and curled horns."
⦿ ⦿ ⦿

"System hub #5739. Known to its local population by the common name of ‘earth’. This world is prone to void storms, bringing creatures and peoples from many lands to it and taking others away again.

You will be dropped in the Yelling Heights at the foot of a mountain called Ciyesia. Those who have been on board since the month of Apple will recognise this world from the training mission that month. This will be your base for the mission though some tasks may take you further afield. We have received a lot of tasks from the Void Ministry and you will find them listed below." ⦿

#6416
"Destination: System #6416. The jungle planet Nion is a long-established nature preserve near the Hub worlds. Home to a variety of animals, the most notable of which are the Violet Pandas and Giant Armadillos, both unique to this system.

It was once home to a human civilisation who have long left the planet to be reclaimed by the jungle. As such it hosts semi-automated planetary protection systems, which shield the planet. Unfortunately these ancient systems have long since gone offline.

A meteor cluster is on a direct collision course with Nion. A direct hit will cause devastation to the planet and its unique inhabitants." ⦿

#11921
"The Voidgazer was a small discovery craft out of system #11921. It's main purpose was to document the void and the other worlds connected to it. The system hadn't discovered void travel very long when the disaster happened.

The exact cause of the failure is still unknown but all voidsystems failed deep in the void. The resulting story is a terrifying one of a crew not only dealing with the fact they were stranded with broken systems but the affects on their minds as the void slowly crept in. When it was found there were only five survivors.

It is a dramatic retelling, pieced together by evidence, recovered crew logs and the interviews by the crew- this is a historical disaster which happened a few hundred years before this book was written. There is an epilogue that explains that fate of the Voidgazer led to further advances of voidsafety and in particular emergency protocols to protect travellers from breaches of the void." ⦿

#16125
"Destination: World #16125. A dying planet that has been under an evacuation and monitoring order for the last eighty nine years. It is still inhabited, mostly by the scientists that monitor it but also by some hardy communities who refused the evacuation order.

There has been increasing danger from solar flares, asteroids and seismic activity. The last few months things have gotten more volatile and a few weeks ago it was predicted that the world wouldn't last out the solar year. Plans were started for the final evacuation. However events have escalated quickly the last few days and scientists now fear that a world-ending event is imminent. They are understaffed and struggling to evacuate in time. They made an emergency broadcast asking for help, the Voidtrecker Express will heed it." ⦿

#25768
"Planet #25768 is a very marshy and wet one. Rain is a constant companion and even when it is not raining it is never quite dry. There is moisture in the air constantly. Ground is soft if not outright boggy and paths are treacherous. Slopes are liable to turn into mud slides under your feet and some routes seem more like a river than a track.

The passes through the mountains are flanked with dark rock, standing jagged to the sky. The hills themselves are covered in soft springy heather. Cloud is low and you don’t need to be high in the hills to be surrounded by mist. The goblins use this to their advantage, using their superior sight to ambush travellers.

The city is built against a cliff edge. There is one pass through the mountains leading north, with many paths leading off as the cliffs soften into hills. Another pass leads south and that is where the main force of goblins are coming from though there are many advance troops coming over the hills. There is a second route out of the city towards the east that involves a winding path up the cliff and over into the hills beyond." ⦿

#34253
"Joi Nurl: A seemingly normal office worker from system #34253 who moved illegal money and was heavily involved behind the scenes of an inter world drug trade. He was responsible for introducing the addictive drug 'Roze' to many worlds. Roze's main problem was though it was a addictive but mostly relaxing drug for those of system #34253 it could cause many medical complications in other worlds." ⦿

#58291
"Destination: Word #58291. A vast world with an array of people. It is technological in nature, space travel has been achieved though void travel has not and they are not aware of multiple universes. The only species capable of greater thought and speech are humans. There are magical systems in the world though it would seem that most of those living there are unaware of such things.

You mission will take you to a valley in the north of one of the smaller land masses. There a group led by a figure who calls themselves ‘Professor Chill’ have activated a weather machine, trapping a valley in a blizzard. The people there are trapped, creatures guard the perimeters and weather conditions mean that the military cannot get close." ⦿

#88888
"a world of rugged icy mountains, occupied only by giant flying creatures. The creatures are not a threat, it is quick to reassure readers, and the world is a fascinating nature retreat." ⦿

#398050
"World #398050 is a void nexus known locally as Tshering. As a void nexus this world has strong links with the void and the connection through worlds. World #398050 is home to the Endless River. Legends speak of this river being powerful enough to send thoughts from one heart to another across any distance. All that is needed is for you to know who it is you wish to reach." ⦿

#2207385
"Destination: System #2207385. The overseers of a new biosphere shell in construction around the white star Crysohale IV have sent a distress signal.

Your task is to enter the biosphere, investigate the nature of the threat and bring the biosphere back under control. The living creatures and plants of the biosphere are protected under System #2207385’s laws, so great care is needed to avoid damaging the fledgling ecosystem." ⦿

#7212108
"Destination: System #7212108. This system has one inhabitable planet and is a self governing system on the edge of the territory of the ever expanding Empire of Stars. Currently they are under attack from those who wish to take their system, and planet, as their own.

They have a considerable space force, their planet is surrounded by a system of shields and their army is stationed and commanded from a military station off-world. They are currently in the middle of a prolongued siege and holding their own. But a second wormhole has been opened with reinforcements and more powerful weaponry. The threat to their lives has become considerable and they will need help if their world is to survive." ⦿

#9126110
"As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.

Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates." ⦿

#47520001
"A vast sprawling space empire that was starting to develop void travel, however it has gone silent and attempts to find the world have failed." ⦿

#891010003
"A half garbled SOS was sent from this world, but when help turned up there was nothing but debris. No one knows what happened here." ⦿

"A short SOS message by a system that had a void presence if not a large one. Voidcraft were sent to the world and arrived in good time. But too late. There was nothing left of the system, no planets, no stars, just debris.

To this day no one knows what happened. This book tells the story of the time between the initial call and the voidcraft Defender turning up- including interviews from the responders. It is one of the largest unsolved mysteries of the void." ⦿

#5382110341
"Destination: World # 5382110341. The kingdom of Irivar. Irivar is a large kingdom, with many different habitats and people. Magic is well-known there, and is a natural part of life. Though monsters do roam the countryside, the towns and villages are usually safe: most adults in the kingdom are fighters and many go on to join the guild of adventurers and travel the land to keep the peace. Currently there is a great war far in the west and many of the adventurers, as well as the kingdom's army, are busy holding back an invading force.

Just over a week ago a great wave of elemental magic swept over the kingdom. Though the cause is unknown, it is thought to be an attack from the invaders aiming to destabilise the land and force the kingdom to withdraw its troops. The wave of magic has caused a range of problems, most seriously a magical blight- a corruption that destabilises the natural elemental energies of land and people, flora and fauna." ⦿

"Destination: System #93426194992.

The city of Kamakan is a large population centre in an almost barren world. Constructed in four distinct tiers, the city is one of great wealth and desperate poverty. A series of strange events has been reported and void assistance has been requested." ⦿

"Destination: System #789327772. The planet of Terra. This system is vast, consisting of hundreds of galaxies. It is not void active, always having been more interested in the exploration of its own many life-supporting worlds to start looking further.

The planet of Terra is a large planet in a solar system of four planets that orbit a sun. Though the surface is suitable to life the people who live there live predominantly underground. Indeed there are two main peoples of Terra.

The Terrans live in vast underground cities, they are a highly technological peoples, who are constantly innovating to bring the best life chances for their society. The Gry are the second civilisation on Terra, their society mostly shuns technology and lives a more traditional life. They live nearer the surface in shallower burrows. The two civilisations hold an uneasy truce, opting to have nothing to do with each other." ⦿

"Fresh out of military college is sent to Planet #98789878987, a notorious planet known for its lawlessness and disdain of the empire's reach." ⦿

"There is a foreword explaining that they are two voidtravellers who travel various worlds, mostly the non void-active ones and set out to document some of their favourite places.

There are ten photos, each expertly framed and shot. None of them show people up close (though some have people in the background). They encapsulate the world in ten images (or at least what the photographers see as the most worthy of memory.) They are all very familiar places." ⦿

"A history of the island. Mostly focusing on its popularity as a tourist destination and has been so for a few hundred years." ⦿

"A more detailed history. The world was always non-void active though they knew about the void early, due to the popularity of the island. However there are other planets in the system and those on the island eventually were enticed towards the stars. Jema'Grethy was never very technological and the young people jumped at the chance to fly into space and see other planets. The old died and the young did not return in any permanent way. Soon it was only of use as a tourist destination.

There is a section saying about how those who used to live there sometimes entered into life bonds- a deeply spiritual ceremony where they shared in each others lives and 'found a greater depth of partnership'. There are stories of this happening to those visiting the island, often by accident but it is mostly considered an old legend/tale and the author doesn't seem to put much credibility in it." ⦿

#7625000129523
"This book talks about the history of the two cities. They developed separately, unknown to each other until they accidentally discovered each other. Since then trade was established between the two cities.

The book states there are other settlements on the world, all just as small and isolated. Bui and Gyueran are notable though due to an incident where a Void Mission group (The Champions of Jhu) messed up during a mission to help them through a period of strange storms. They accidentally exposed knowledge of the void. Luckily it didn't backfire too badly but stories of void warriors have lived on in both cultures." ⦿

"Destination: Planet #7625000129523. Specifically the island of Gyueran. The only inhabited island in an archipelago that covers a fair span of ocean. It has encountered a spate of calamities and strange happenings. Missing people, reports of sacred rock pools swallowing islanders whole, monsters from the sea. On top of that they have lost contact with their main trading partner, an underwater city they call Bui. Furthermore their spiritual leaders have found themselves unable to access their spiritual power. They are in need of help." ⦿

#78961112094711
"system #78961112094711 is a large galaxy with well established inter stellar travel. The specific planet that the voidtreckers are visiting is called Osiga. Osiga is a planet that is built on strong community bonds, a necessity due to the month of darkness each year that brings a deathly cold. There are no countries, but smaller clusters of people overseen by small elected boards who make sure resources are shared fairly. It has a high level of technology and holds one of the largest void hubs in the system. Travelling off planet is very common, cultures are very mixed whilst keeping a strong cultural idea of 'home' (which can be more than one planet) and they extended the same attitude to void travel- tourists and visitors are very welcome and no one is going to look strange or worrying to the people here." ⦿

#09876790863211
"A void active world. No void travellers have been seen from this world in a few years." ⦿

"A quite heavy ecology book about the world. It mostly lists plants by species. There are a couple of interesting ones:
~ A rainbow flower that is technically white but refracts light much like a prism.
~ A type of bark that if eaten will regrow skin cells, making it a healing agent for small surface wounds.
~ A tree whose sap is so poisonous even a drop on skin can cause a painful death." ⦿
